Studying the ancient cultures of Mesopotamia and Mesoamerica at the Universities of Heidelberg and Bonn, Germany has excited my curiosity for the world even more. To see, to learn how people in the different regions lived and survived in the past, has also led me to contemplate today's landscapes and societies all around the globe.
After years of leaving my homeland Luxembourg time and again, I am pleased to present my photographs from journeys to China, India, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Morocco, Italy, France, Germany, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico and the USA on this website.
So, whenever I find myself facing a landscape, architecture, an animal, people and their works, lights or a plant of peculiar charm and in the right light, chances are my Canon 5D mk II captures the moment - if I do not decide to live in this special instant myself.
Unique moments of great honour were the "Photo of the Day"-nomination of "Errants" by National Geographic on 25th December 2013, the participation in SeeMe's "Takeover" event in Times Square, New York City, USA on 25th July 2014 (second picture on the left) and the publication of "Pyramid Lines" in the "National Geographic Traveler Mexiko" guide in April 2017 (third picture on the left).
In case my photographs please you, feel free to contact me and share your opinion with me.
